SIFMA and Arteria AI Partner to Streamline US Treasury Clearing with AI Platform

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) has joined forces with Arteria AI to launch a data-driven documentation platform for US Treasury clearing participants. This initiative responds to new SEC rules mandating central clearing for Treasury repurchase transactions, effective since December 2023.

The partnership delivers standardized documentation tools for onboarding, compliance, and operational integration. SIFMA’s collaboration with buy-side and sell-side members has yielded legal enforceability opinions and accounting guidance to ease the transition to mandatory clearing.
